As German lender Deutsche Bank’s debt capital markets ( DCM ) platform continues to experience strong momentum across Asia-Pacific, the bank has appointed Pavithra Anand as its head of Asia syndicate and Karan Maroo as its head of Southeast Asia DCM.
Anand joined the bank in 2011 and has worked her way up the ranks, helping to execute some of its most complex and high-profile transactions. She will continue to be based in Singapore.
Karan Maroo joins the bank from Standard Chartered, where he has spent most of his career, working in Singapore and India. He was most recently part of the leveraged and acquisition finance team, focused on executing high-yield bond and loan transactions. This is a homecoming for Karan of sorts, having completed an internship at Deutsche Bank during his studies.
