Mumbai-based law firm Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) has appointed Rachel Manser as chief knowledge officer. She will be based in Mumbai.

Before joining CAM, Manser was at Linklaters for almost 20 years, most recently as a director leading knowledge and learning (K&L) globally.

She was responsible for the firm’s K&L strategy, knowledge management, client K&L, knowledge technologies, information and research, data governance, as well as learning and development. Welcoming Manser to CAM, managing partner Cyril Shroff says: “Knowledge management including thought leadership and innovation is essential to our firm’s ethos. We are putting knowledge at the centre of the firm. Rachel joining us will bring decades of global and best practices. This will further boost our offerings within the firm and to our clients.”
