DBS has appointed Shilpa Gulrajani as the new head of sustainability for its institutional banking group.
Gulrajani, who joined the bank on October 21, is responsible for leading DBS’ sustainable finance business franchise and engagement in the region, driving ESG business origination, advisory and financing solutions to enable corporates and institutions to successfully transition to a net-zero pathway.
In addition, she serves as co-lead of the Singapore-Asia Taxonomy workstream, coordinated by the Singapore Sustainable Finance Association.
Gulrajani has extensive experience in sustainability and corporate development, most recently with BNP Paribas where she oversaw ESG advisory and banking solutions for the Asia-Pacific region. She first started her banking career in 2002 with Citigroup in India.
