Over the review period, Asset Benchmark Research (ABR) received submissions from a long and varied list of companies on their key initiatives to effect changes in their respective industries. These include achievements in the fields of environmental protection, social advocacy, diversity and inclusion, and technological innovation.

It was heartening to see companies pooling their resources to support sustainability and promote values for the good of the community.

For example, initiatives that focused on environmental responsibility involved companies leveraging new processes to reduce their carbon footprint or mitigating the environmental impact of their day-to-day operations. There were notable social initiatives that sought to foster positive relationships with stakeholders, and this involved giving back to the communities whether through educational programmes or volunteer work.   

Initiatives that focused on diversity and inclusion involved companies that were able to instill a culture of equal opportunity in their organizations with measurable results, while one company stood out from its peers in the field of technological innovation by bringing a first to the local market.
